Una Familia de Boston con ra\u00edces en Shangh\u00e1i busca construir su sue\u00f1o, tener un pedacito de Barcelona para retirarse alg\u00fan d\u00eda y mientras tanto escaparse todo lo que puedan. Todo por hacer, casi nada que recuperar a parte de una cubeta centenaria en la cocina, el mosaico de nolla oculto bajo moquetas y algunas molduras de yeso como testigos durmientes del esplendor burgu\u00e9s de este barrio de finales del siglo XIX, el Eixample.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"793\" height=\"872\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-3.jpg\" alt=\"Long Flat by MIEL Arquitectos\" class=\"wp-image-128255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-3.jpg 793w, https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-3-273x300.jpg 273w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 793px) 100vw, 793px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El elegido es un piso pasante que comunica dos polos muy diferenciados. Por un lado, la Rambla de Catalu\u00f1a, boulevard bullicioso pavimentado de tiendas de moda y terrazas de restaurantes, prolongaci\u00f3n extramuros de las famosas Ramblas. Hacia el patio de manzana se vuelca el dormitorio en-suite, la intimidad. Hacia la Rambla el sal\u00f3n \u2013 comedor, lo social. A medida que cada uno de estos mundos se extiende hacia el interior del piso nace el \u00abLong\u00bb para unirlos, para conectarlos, una membrana vibrante, un filtro vaporoso que suaviza el v\u00ednculo entre el Yin y el Yang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El \u00abLong\u00bb, este drag\u00f3n ben\u00e9volo de la mitolog\u00eda china, se desliza entre estancias disolviendo la marcada estructura de muros de carga, formando armarios y ocultando instalaciones. Retrasa el acceso a los dormitorios centrales para crear un pl\u00e1cido recibidor atemperado por los colores de los vitrales dise\u00f1ados exprofeso. Este drag\u00f3n de la suerte se hace banco, ducha o mueble bar y viste sus formas sinuosas de listones de robles, pinturas de arcilla o baldosas de la Bisbal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"793\" height=\"1060\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-5.jpg\" alt=\"Long Flat by MIEL Arquitectos\" class=\"wp-image-128258\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-5.jpg 793w, https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-5-224x300.jpg 224w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 793px) 100vw, 793px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"793\" height=\"755\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-10.jpg\" alt=\"Long Flat by MIEL Arquitectos\" class=\"wp-image-128259\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-10.jpg 793w, https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-10-300x286.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 793px) 100vw, 793px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre cabeza y cola se enroscan un dormitorio doble para cada hijo, un ba\u00f1o compartido, un aseo (en cuyas entra\u00f1as de vidrio ahumado y paneles de roble se ocultan la lavander\u00eda y sala de m\u00e1quinas) y finalmente la cocina. Una cocina abierta al sal\u00f3n-comedor mediante 3 arcos perforados en el muro que antes los separaba, con una isla central de casi 4m que tanto ayuda con los preparativos culinarios como en aquellas conversaciones nocturnas al son de alg\u00fan que otro cocktail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"793\" height=\"1333\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-6.jpg\" alt=\"Long Flat by MIEL Arquitectos\" class=\"wp-image-128260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-6.jpg 793w, https:\/\/www.revistadeck.com\/sitio\/wp-content\/uploads\/Long-Flat-6-178x300.jpg 178w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 793px) 100vw, 793px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Y aquellos elementos rescatados de vidas pasadas reviven ahora con nuevos usos.
