El reencuentro no podr\u00eda ser m\u00e1s violento: Ruben, encarnado por el propio Gadd en un rol casi irreconocible, le da un pu\u00f1etazo a Niall delante de todos. Lo que surgi\u00f3 entre ellos fue una alianza extra\u00f1a, hecha de secretos, miedo y obsesi\u00f3n: Ruben como escudo contra el bullying escolar, Niall como el \u00fanico testigo de la vulnerabilidad que Ruben jam\u00e1s mostrar\u00eda ante el mundo. A lo largo de seis episodios, la serie sigue a los dos desde la adolescencia hasta la adultez, mostrando c\u00f3mo esa relaci\u00f3n los marc\u00f3 de maneras irrevocables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GADD VUELVE A HACER LO QUE MEJOR SABE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lo que hizo grande a <em>Baby Reindeer<\/em> no fue solo su crudeza autobiogr\u00e1fica, sino la capacidad de Gadd para construir personajes que parecen ser una cosa y terminan siendo otra. En <em>Half Man<\/em>, esa misma habilidad vuelve a aparecer con fuerza. La serie no juzga ni a Niall ni a Ruben desde un lugar c\u00f3modo: los muestra como productos de entornos que los fallaron, criados por madres ensimismadas y sin modelos de masculinidad que les ense\u00f1aran a pedir ayuda o a procesar el dolor. El resultado es una exploraci\u00f3n despiadada de c\u00f3mo los hombres construyen sus identidades a costa de los dem\u00e1s, y a costa de s\u00ed mismos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Junto a Gadd y Bell, el elenco incluye a Stuart Campbell como el joven Ruben, Neve McIntosh como la madre de Niall, y nombres como Charlie De Melo, Anjli Mohindra y Amy Manson. La direcci\u00f3n est\u00e1 a cargo de Alexandra Brodski y Eshref Reybrouck.
