Un nuevo relevamiento acaba de revelar cu\u00e1les son los festivales del mundo m\u00e1s imperdibles: diez celebraciones globales que van desde el carnaval de R\u00edo hasta el desierto de Nevada, pasando por India, M\u00e9xico y el coraz\u00f3n de Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
R\u00cdO DE JANEIRO LIDERA EL PLANETA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
El primer lugar del ranking lo ocupa el Carnaval de R\u00edo de Janeiro<\/strong>, Brasil, y la sorpresa es cero. Considerado el festejo m\u00e1s grande del mundo, convoca cada febrero a millones de personas que inundan calles, barrios y el ic\u00f3nico Samb\u00f3dromo. Samba, colores, desfiles de escuelas de samba y una energ\u00eda que no tiene parang\u00f3n: dif\u00edcil discutirle el n\u00famero uno a R\u00edo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En segundo lugar aparece el Holi en Mathura<\/strong>, India, conocido como el Festival de los Colores. Celebra la llegada de la primavera con una lluvia de polvos de colores y agua. En Mathura, ciudad de nacimiento de Lord Krishna, la celebraci\u00f3n dura varios d\u00edas y culmina con una intensidad que pocos festivales del mundo pueden igualar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
LATINOAM\u00c9RICA, GRAN PROTAGONISTA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
El D\u00eda de Muertos en Oaxaca<\/strong>, M\u00e9xico, completa el podio. Se celebra del 31 de octubre al 2 de noviembre con altares, cementerios iluminados con velas y procesiones por las calles de la ciudad. Lejos de ser un evento oscuro, es una celebraci\u00f3n colectiva del recuerdo y la vida, donde lo sagrado y lo festivo conviven de una forma que no se encuentra en ning\u00fan otro lugar del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Con dos representantes latinoamericanos en el top 3, la regi\u00f3n se consolida como uno de los destinos culturales m\u00e1s potentes para el viajero que busca algo m\u00e1s que turismo convencional. Para el p\u00fablico argentino, la cercan\u00eda geogr\u00e1fica y cultural con R\u00edo<\/strong> y Oaxaca<\/strong> hace que estos dos destinos sean los m\u00e1s accesibles \u2014y probablemente los m\u00e1s transformadores\u2014 del ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
EUROPA Y EL RESTO DEL MUNDO<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
El Carnevale de Venecia<\/strong> ocupa el cuarto lugar con sus m\u00e1scaras y su magia sobre el agua. Le sigue el Festival del Barro de Boryeong<\/strong> en Corea del Sur (5\u00b0), una experiencia tan peculiar como divertida que atrae turistas de todo el mundo. Completan la lista el Burning Man<\/strong> en el desierto de Nevada (6\u00b0), el legendario Glastonbury<\/strong> en el Reino Unido (7\u00b0), el electr\u00f3nico Tomorrowland<\/strong> en B\u00e9lgica (8\u00b0), el Sziget<\/strong> en Budapest (9\u00b0) y el Donauinselfest<\/strong> en Viena (10\u00b0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El relevamiento deja algunas ausencias llamativas: Australia y \u00c1frica no tienen ning\u00fan representante en el top ten. Y de Estados Unidos solo entra Burning Man, lo que habla de cu\u00e1n global \u2014y diverso\u2014 se est\u00e1 volviendo el mapa de festivales del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
C\u00d3MO PLANIFICAR EL VIAJE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
La clave para vivir cualquiera de estos festivales est\u00e1 en la anticipaci\u00f3n. El Carnaval de R\u00edo, por ejemplo, exige reservar alojamiento con al menos seis meses de antelaci\u00f3n si se quiere estar cerca del Samb\u00f3dromo. Glastonbury<\/strong> funciona con un sistema de sorteo y las entradas se agotan en minutos. Tomorrowland<\/strong> en B\u00e9lgica abre sus inscripciones a principios de a\u00f1o y tambi\u00e9n colapsa en horas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
