Una parada obligada para todos aquellos que visiten la ciudad.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>UNA FUENTE CON HISTORIA<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La fuente est\u00e1 ubicada en el cruce de tres calles (tre vie), y marca el punto del&nbsp;Aqua Virgo&nbsp;, uno de los antiguos&nbsp;acueductos&nbsp;que suministraban agua a la capital italiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En 1730, el papa Clemente XII realiz\u00f3 un concurso a fin de encontrar el arquitecto para la obra. El ganador fue Alessandro Galilei. No obstante, y tras una gran pol\u00e9mica, Nicola Salvi se hizo cargo finalmente del proyecto.<br>La construcci\u00f3n de la Fontana di Trevi&nbsp;comenz\u00f3 en 1732. Salvi falleci\u00f3 en 1751, por tal motivo el escultor Pietro Bracci se hizo cargo del proyecto hasta su finalizaci\u00f3n, en 1762.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La&nbsp;Fontana de Trevi es una de las mayores fuentes monumentales del&nbsp;Barroco&nbsp;en Italia. Posee 25,9 metros de altura y 19,8 metros de anchura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las estatuas que la adornan representan Neptuno sobre un carro tirado por caballos, la Abundancia, Agrippa, Salud y la Virgen.
